We've used the south-sloping area around the old hog (or is it chicken?) building for our garden plot for many years, and have had great results. Getting started. Melon hills in the foreground. Coming along. This is the building we've used as a greenhouse. Not enough heat to get some seedlings started, but great for the early spring transition. See the next picture for interior. Part of the south-facing roof has been replaced with fiberglass panels, for light and heat. Soon to be too much... Garden in mid-summer. (Facing west.) Our best garden friend.
